When we first started OPLegends, we started with the post “Where’s the Forums?”, where we highlighted why we were departing from the traditional forums. Earlier this year, we decided to try forums, wondering about the impact it would have on our community engagement and responsiveness.

Now, after this experiment, we have come to the same conclusion as before: our innovative use of Discord is the best for providing good support and understanding you, the players.

There have been a few changes to Discord which have really been catalysts for this decision, however. Most notably, threads have been added, solving our suggestion and long-form discussion problem. With this and bot improvements, we are proud to say we are back to providing best-in-class support with quick response times through Discord support!
